*vegetable tray
*Pumpernickle bread/spinach dip You buy a pumpernickle bread circle (kroger, etc.) & break or cut into bite size pieces & serve with spinach dip) Trust me- this is super easy & will get rave reviews.
*nacho dip in a bowl & nacho chips
*Christmas cookies

*Egg nog
* punch in a bowl
* cans of pop in a cooler to help themselves

Well, first off, the menu all depends on your budget.

Veggie trays
Meat & cheese trays
Fruit trays
Chocolate covered fruit and/or nuts
You can purchase the trays, except the chocolate one at Wal-mart

Shrimp cocktails
lg. bowl of ice
smaller bowl for shrimp
cocktail sauce

Sausage balls (easy to make & eat)
2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1lb. hot pork sausage
2 1/2 c. bisquik mix

Combine cheese & sausage in bowl; mix with hands until well blended. Add baking mix; mix well. Shape into marble-sized balls; arrange on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 325 F for 30 minutes or until cooked through. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot or at room temperature. Yield: 4 dozen.

Holiday Cheese Ball (easy to make)
3 pkgs. 8oz. cream cheese
1 pkg. minced dried beef
1 tbsp. worchestershire sauce
1 tbsp. minced onions

Have ingredients at room temp. Mix & roll into a ball. Use wax paper to assist making into a ball. Coat with chopped dried beef or pecans. Put in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Bourbon Weinees (easy, but a little messy to eat)
1 pkg. cocktail weinees or cut up hot dogs (I like the cocktail weinees better)
1 jar of yellow mustard (like French’s)
1 jar of Damson grape jelly
1/3 c. bouron

Combine in crock pot & cook over night or all day. Serve with toothpicks.

Mini-Cheesecakes (easy, but more steps)
12 vanilla wafers
2 8oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Line muffin tin with foil liners.

Place one vanilla wafer in each liner. Mix cream cheese, vanilla & sugar on medium speed until well-blended. Add eggs. Mix well. Pour over wafers, filling 3/4 full. Bake 25 mins. at 325 F.

Remove from pan when cool. Chill. Top with fruit, preserves, nuts or chocolate.

Pecan Daintes (easy)
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. water
2 c. pecans, finely ground

Put into food processor. Mix together. Shape into balls. Put half a pecan on top. Bake at 350 F for 20 mins.

Wassail
1 gallon apple cider
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. whole allspice
2 tsp. whole cloves
2 three inch cinnamon sticks
2 oranges, studded with cloves

Heat all ingredients except oranges in crock pot. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, strain. Pour into a small punch bowl or large pitcher. Serve hot.

Hope these recipes & ideas help. Good luck & happy holidays.
