It depends on what time of day (or night) the wedding is.. universal food items include: Little Sandwiches.. Fruit platters.. (canteloupe, grape, etc.) Vegetable Platter.. Cocktail sausages (with the little toothpicks).. Cocktail meatballs.. Spinach and artichoke dip.. etc.. there are a million websites on this sort of thing.

Catholics aren’t any different than anyone else. You could go as simple as cheese platters and crackers to hors d’oeuvres like chicken puffs, crab rangoon, and stuffed mushrooms.

Warm and cold pasta dishes go a long way and can be prepared ahead. Don’t just have finger foods if you’re going to have plates it takes a lot more money to do these and time. If you don’t want to do it yourself, go to Sam’s they have lots of finger foods in the frozen food dept.
