Finger sandwiches, fruit, veggies… Think light, cool and crisp for summer.

veggies
fruit
cheese
crackers
chicken wings
meatballs
chips/pretzels/nuts

I know ~ these are the normal foods you see at most weddings, but you can always arrange/display them creatively. Also, try different dips for the veggies & fruits. Or an assortment of sauces for the meat. You can also add personal touches & decorations to the buffet table. Hope some of these ideas help! Best of luck to you :)

Anything that isn’t messy or too filling. People want to be able to try a wide variety of foods and the food table can be a great chance for people to socialize and talk to new people. Food that can be put into small bowls or on plates is best; such as sausage rolls and scotch eggs. Try having several round table scattered around the place to stop crowding and encourage people to move about more. It really all depends on what food you like personally but basic food can also be a good idea so that there’s something for everyone. Remember: vegetarian/vegan options are also nice to serve if you no of someone that would appreciate this.

I did cold cut sandwiches at my July wedding ~ It was nice because the guests could make their own, to their liking – and it wasn’t too heavy, and add some fresh veggies like tomatoes and cucumbers, totally summer food!

We also had different types of cold pasta salads and fresh fruit as well as things like pretzels.
