I burned my finger taking out some food from the oven and immediately I put cold water on it and ice cubes. Now I have a blister, what should I do? Should I just leave it alone to heal?
Thank you very much for your time

Leave it alone. If you have aloe vera gel put that on, it will feel better.
Keep running cold water over it until it starts to hurt a bit less.
Since you’ve already got a blister, leave it alone. Popping the blister will only make things worse, running a high risk of infection. If it pops on it’s own or if it pops while you’re doing something, immediately clean it out with soap and water, then slather Neosporin over it and bandage it. Change the bandage daily, and allow it some time to air out.
toothpaste is good..neosporin
pawpaw ointment might help. Cornflour is good for blisters too
You did the right thing with the cold water and Ice. Now let it alone for a few days. Once it pops you will need to cover it so you don’t get dirt or debree in it and get an infection. Maybe put some Neo sporin on it also.
cool water then ice to remove the heat from skin. leave the blister alone, eventually it’ll pop on it’s own, put neosporine after it pop to avoid infection
You can google this faster than you can ask us.
Take some time to read.
It will do wonders.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burn_(injury)
It is a natural bodily function that when you burn yourself and injure your skin, the body sends fluids to the site of the burn which results in a blister. Your body will then begin to grow some new skin, and the blister and fluid will protect it. So whatever you do, do not bust that blister. If you have to and have a large enough band-aid, put it over the blister loosely to protect it. It’s natural to bump the blister and bust it open accidentally, and if that happens, immediately put some antibiotic cream on it and place a band-aid over it. That was a good thing you did, putting ice and cold water over the site when it first happened. The idea of a burn is to put out the flame and that is exactly what you did. I wish for you the very best sir and take extra care of that finger and it will be healed in no time. Good luck.
More than likely the reason you have a blister is due to the misconception that you need to put water on a burn. The worst thing you can do is put ice on a burn. The reason being your skin needs to normalize it’s temperature to 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit (37 degrees Celsius) What you are actually doing is burning it again. You shock your skin in the other direction. I read online that the best thing to do is to put your hand over the burn (if possible) so that the heat is spread out and you don’t risk shocking the skin into a colder temperature. Since I’ve applied this method I haven’t had one mark from a burn. With the exception of the one time that I didn’t do it. (Nearly two years)
run it under cold water for 10 minutes, leave it then repeat it again it should help col the skin down
